Join BBC's Lisa Kurek and Becky Aistrup for their recap of this year's National SBIR/STTR Conference, held in Portland Nov. 13-15. The conference provides critical information to small businesses competing for SBIR/STTR grants and contracts, which amount to approximately $2.5 billion in funding annually.
This year's theme, “Crack the Code,” is designed to promote discovery of the key issues to successful grant applications --creating connections, fostering new opportunities, showcasing diversity, and exploring innovative possibilities for both new and experienced SBIR recipients. Speakers will discuss topics covering the winning formulae for successful SBIR/STTR grants, as well as the major factors influencing failure. Technology tracks will include speakers on biomedical/health, defense/security, energy/clean-tech, agricultural/food and more.
Lisa and Becky will be there gleaning important updates and information, and they will report back, answer your questions, and offer their insights on the conference.
